Amanda Shelby, REALTOR ®

I am a licensed real estate agent with Fathom Realty. My biggest desire is to serve my clients with excellence and enthusiasm. Selling and buying a home can be a very stressful time. With my knowledge and excellent negotiating skills you can rest assured your best interest is my number one priority. 


I have been involved in real estate for over twelve years. From supervising my husband's construction company, to owning and managing multiple rental properties, as well as renovating and staging our investment homes. This experience has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that gives my clients an extra edge when it comes to selling or buying a home. From a novice homebuyer to a seasoned investor, I will guide you through every step of the process. 


I graduated with honors from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies and spent more than ten years working in the legal field. I reside in Haslet, Texas with my husband, James and our three children, Owen, Oliver and Olivia. When I am not assisting my real estate clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, and traveling.

Sellers - Make Ready

Almost all homes need at least a few repairs to be market ready and I want to help you get top dollar for your home. My clients receive up to $1,200 worth of labor and materials toward these improvements. Service will be performed by Highlands Construction Company.

Buyers - Upgrades or Improvements

Most people make some sort of change or upgrade either before they move in or shortly after. Whether it's painting a bedroom or changing out light fixtures you want to put your own touch on your new home. My buyer clients receive up to $600 worth of labor and materials toward these home upgrades. Service will be performed by Highlands Construction Company.

Disclosure and Conditions

*Client(s) is under no obligation to accept my complimentary make ready and improvement offer. If client chooses to accept up to $1,200 in labor and materials towards make ready repairs or improvements, the service will be provided by Highlands Construction Company. A signed listing agreement or buyer's representation agreement must be signed by both client(s) and Amanda Shelby. An additional contract between client and Highlands Construction Company will be required as well to protect and warrant both my client(s) and Highlands Construction Company.  Client(s) must close transaction with Amanda Shelby as their licensed sales agent. Transaction must FULLY CLOSE and FUND.  If client 1) cancels listing or buyer's representation agreement; 2) changes real estate sales agents or broker; 3) chooses to cancel listing and sells FSBO; or 4) any action by client that prevents the closing of the sale or purchase with Amanda Shelby as their licensed sales agent, client becomes responsible for paying the $1,200 (or the amount in signed agreement) in labor and materials to Highlands Construction Company for work performed to their property. Highlands Construction Company is owned and operated by James Shelby, husband of Amanda Shelby.
